Frequently Asked Questions
ARE RESERVATIONS REQUIRED?
Reservations are recommended for Fridays, Saturdays, and most evenings between 6 pm and 8 pm. Bar seats are not reserved. A limited number of tables are available for walk-in guests. For up-to-the-minute availability – and to confirm your reservation – please visit Resy or call our reservations team at (484) 947-5444.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows put our small, independent restaurant at a disadvantage for filling tables on short notice. Because of this, we require a credit card to guarantee table reservations and we have a 24 hour change/cancellation policy.
Should you need to change or cancel your reservation for any reason – including reducing the size of your party – please let us know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee of $25 per person.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MY LARGE PARTY?
Reservations for parties of up to eight guests are available to book via Resy. For parties of nine or more, please call our reservations team at (484) 947-5444 or email info@joleneswc.com.
DO YOU HAVE A BAR?
Yes, we offer wines by the glass and wines by the bottle, in addition to a wide selection of liquors, spirits, seasonal craft cocktails, classic cocktails, and a curated selection of bottled beer and cider.
Our bar has twenty seats and the dinner menu is available to guests. Bar seats are not reserved.
IS IT TRUE THAT YOU ONLY SERVE FRENCH WINE?
We offer fifteen wines by the glass – sparkling, white, red, rosé and orange – all from France. If you’d like to explore wine grown beyond the French borders, our wine cellar has bottles from around the world, including California, Oregon, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, South Africa, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand.
CAN I BRING A BOTTLE OF WINE FROM HOME?
Yes, if you’ve got a special bottle of wine you’d like us to open for you, we can do it! A $45 corkage fee will be added to your check. Please limit BYO to two bottles per party.
CAN THE KITCHEN ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND FOOD ALLERGIES?
Yes, we can accommodate many – but not all – dietary restrictions and food allergies. We recommend contacting the restaurant in advance to allow our kitchen to prepare for special accommodation if necessary. With advance notice, the kitchen can prepare vegetarian and vegan items. Some – but not all – items on our menu can be prepared gluten- or dairy- or nut-free.
CAN I REQUEST A QUIET TABLE?
We embrace the lively spirit of French hospitality — where the energy is high, and the conversations flow with the wine. On Friday and Saturday evenings, our dining room is especially bustling, creating a vibrant and festive dining experience.
For guests seeking a more relaxed and intimate dinner, we recommend joining us on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening when the pace is a little slower and the atmosphere is better suited for a quieter dining experience. No matter when you visit, we look forward to welcoming you.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Our menu is refined, but our dining room is casual. We invite you to come as you are.
